"When in the course of human events it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the poitical bands which have connected them with another and to assume among the powers of the earth, the seperate and equal staion to which the Laws of Nature and of Natures's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the seperation."

Been thinking about the phrases Laws of Nature, Nature's God, Powers of the Earth. Sounds alittle crafty to me...I've been doing alot of elemental meditation and wonder if this has any thing to do with, uh, craft? Any comments...

Nope. Our founding father's (especially Jefferson, who's credited with the Declaration, & Franklin, who sorta 'ghost wrote' it), were Masons, & Deists, but NOT (as popularly rumored) Christians.

Christian yes, but not the stereotypical hell fire and brinstone, landover baptist, type that people sometimes automaticly assume christian means....

they were cabballistic, mystic, rose croix masons, ... Franklin was also a Rosicrucian

So, would acknowledging the God of Nature/Powers of the Earth in the first line of their declaration, in any way be considered asking blessing of said God/Powers?

I would suppose the document speaks for itself..
