My Ghostly Nanny - do ou have any similar stories

When I was about 2 or 3 ,we ,my,my mum and my dad(now divorced),lived in a big old house which had lots of spirits in it.
there was a ghost we only ever identified as "Elli" who was kind of like my nanny.
when I woke up in the night Elli would walk with me towards my parents room,and the lights would turn on as I walked past each of them,she was hardly ever there when my parents opened the door.
I only know all of this because my parents have told me,but I still think I remember the feeling of the hand on my shoulder and the gentle pushing.

I don't even know what Elli looks like and I have not sen her since we left that house.

I know this has been requested far too many times before,but go on share your stories if they are similar to this,or not.

I had a "babysitter" in the household spirit.He's actually watching me right now as I type this.You know the whole 'breeze on a still day' thingy.well, I took a shower right before I went to bed sometime when I was about 4 and in the moring, I found a spiritual prgection of towels draped over my door.also, whenever I stay up too late and I'm in my room reading, he will pound on the door and scratch at it.Also, if there isn't enough light in a room, he will turn on the teapot lamp that isn't plugged in.
