Merry Meet, ya'll.

I'm a happy 40 year old guy, still young enough to be in touch with my inner 12-year old on a daily basis, yet old enough to remember to wear latex gloves when I do. I'm married to a wonderful young lady named Jay, who is kind enough to allow me my assorted illusions but wise enough to burst my bubble when it's needed. (Can you tell I'm a Libra?)

We're both former US military, been there done that and then some but still having fun, currently living in Germany near Heidelberg. We'll be moving back to the USA shortly, going to North Carolina...Yeah, right; great timing: Hurricane Season in August...ADVENTURE!

I have been involved in Wicca, Spiritualism, and finally Paganism, in groups and solo, for as long as I can remember this time. Growing up, I'd always tried to gather as much as I could from everywhere I could but never quite fit in. My parents were kind, loving, and patient. When I left home I wanted a long, exciting path. Normal was boring. I did a lot of stuff that people dream of, and earned every bit of it on my own. Then I met my first real teacher, during college in GA, who helped me finally make sense of it all.

This wonderful Lady taught me about how my gift of empathy was to pay off a Karmic debt from loooooong ago. I eventually learned how to channel it, but still dislike crowds. People Watching is a lot of fun, though. The things that have most stuck with me from my first Book of S. time include OBE/Astral, Past Life Regression, Numerology, and Psychic Self-Defense, to varying degrees of understanding and success. I've had contact with several spirits, and have learned to trust my 6th sense.

Overall, I love thunderstorms and being in tune with the harmony of Nature, but will cheerfully tear the throat out of anything threatening my family or friends. Think of me as a greying-around-the-temples Boy Scout in a leather jacket, if you will be so kind.

Thanks for taking the time to read this; I look forward to learning and sharing much here.

BB, Jim

Thanks to everyone for the Welcomes and KP, hope I can return the cool vibes ASAP.
BTW, I've gotten a secret thrill out of touching you all, but don't tell or they'll think I'm a shameless hussy or something...

Being in touch with his inner 12 year old (and 3 year old, for that matter) was one of my husband's finest qualities.

Wow, you sure are a friendly bunch! Thanks so much for making me feel welcome.
Wife's here now, too; having an equally good time. (I don't want to speak too much for her, though...well, maybe I could get a word in edgewise this way...but I'd pay later. Naaah)
The obligatory warning and weak disclaimer: I hope to keep in your good graces, but I'll def. speak my mind when a strong issue comes up, and while I value tact and learning from others' viewpoints, am not politically correct. Too old for that nonsense. The sky is Blue and the grass is Green in my world. BTW, we're in the middle of a move and re-adjustment, so I'll make sure to keep things from getting a little tense or blowing off steam online.
Thanks again for everything.

Cheers, ya'll
