Ancient languages in dreams...

i dont know why, but for some reason whenever i get a vision, or go into a trance, or have a dream, i always seem to speak or hear a variety of various old old languages - some of which have varied from egyptian, to aramaic, to hindu, etc etc. sometimes i will hear or say words in my dreams that make no sense to me, but ill find that they are actually a real word in a diff language (although my spelling will sometimes be completely off)

anyone have an idea as to why this would happen?? I had a strange dream a couple of nights ago... in my dream i was running down this hallway in my house, when i heard a scream and there was a ghost in the hallway. i doved to the other end of the hallway terrified and huddled up and started screaming this strange word. in my dream the tempetrature was extremely cool, and in my sleep, i started to freeze so i yanked my covers up over me (although the temperatures were around 90 and very humid at the time) anyways.. i still vaguely remember the word and what it sounds like, and how i imagine it to be spelled.. but i dont wanna sound retarded or anything... just wondering if anyone has had similar experiences or has heard of such a thing?

i talked to a friend who is somewhat knowledgable with languages about it, and he said they sounded middle easternish. i even was able to identify some of the words... Ajna for example, was one of them. Ajna is the name for the 'third eye' ... some of the other words sounded a little like chakra names, but some of them werent chakra names - same language it sounded like sometimes though.

past lives... hm.. that is an interesting thought :hmmmmm:


my last dream where i heard a strange word that i could NOT identify^^(i think i talked about it in my first post), i was being terrified by a ghost or spirit of some sort. i have no idea what i said, but i kept on screaming this really strange word... for all i know, it maybe isnt even a real word. it sounded something like 'nakteshka' or something really weird like that.... i know it sounds retarded - but it happens a lot and sometimes the words are actual words.
