Hi! I don't have a personal or favourite deity yet, and I'm trying to look around for one, but there are so many that I must admit I'm a little baffled! I know that creavity is where my heart lies, so could anyone point me in the right direction? (ps, I'm wiccan)

For me Goddess Athena is a great source of creativity

Did you check in the God/Goddess forum? Lots of great resources there. :)

Really? Athena? Ohh...I always liked her, I never knew what she was really about before though! lol!

I have checked the other forum, but its all huge lists of dietys that are by name, and not by what they stand for.

I've always thought Brigid seems like a goddess of creativity.

I have a link that lists god/desses of creativity but I've lost it!
I'll post it soon as I find it.

I agree that Brigid would be an excellent choice. Also Apollo, and the Muses for specific art forms.

Okay, here is a link that lists god/desses of different things, I'm not sure if creativity is on it, but it's interesting. It just basically gives the names of various deities of different things (did anyone know there was a goddess of toilets?), and elsewhere on the site you can probably find a little info on them. http://www.cybercomm.net/~grandpa/chapter6.html

I haven't been there for a while, so can't guarantee it'll help, but, good luck!

i too was going to suggest Apollo and the Muses.
another one might be Lugh, the Celtic Sun God. he is the God of skills, but creativity might fit in there.

Phoenix: Great link!

By any chance does anyone know anything about Castalia? She was the only Greek goddess listed as just "art" on that site, and i don't think i've ever heard of her before.
