I just discoverd this Buddhist Goddess of Mercy and Compassion and felt immediately drawn to her.

I have, she's the goddess that brought forth knowledge of the violet flame. But that's about the extent of my knowldge about her.

I just got my own Kuan Yin but only know what you stated.

As soon as I read about her, I instantly was drawn to her myself. She's rather gentle and kind of mother like in my mind. I've called on her while in times of distress and instantly felt calmer and more at peace.

And the violet flame is a meditation that some feel hasn't been known to many for many, many years. It's supposed to help clear negativity and old karma.
