I have seen "dead people" since I was very young. Try just talking first.Sometimes it works wonders other times You may have a mystery to figure out. Some "dead people" just want the truth about something to be known.

I've felt them many times, and I've seen The Hag, who I'm not sure qualifies as dead.

I've been feeling my husband very strongly and have seen him once.

I experience silhouettics, not actually seeing them the way they were before they died but their silhouette like the old black photos people use to have done of their children and I know who they are by their spirits. But, I don't see real faces just the black silhouettes. I will look and see if I can find the sites that I have book marked. When you decide to speak or communicate with them , you might want to burn some echinacea. It makes it easier to communicate with those who are still watching.

Wow, some fascinating info. I know about clarivoyance, clairaudience,clairsentience... It's hard for me to say which I experience. To me its like I "hear" their thoughts, but not in a clear verbal format... more like a jumble of visual symbols, thoughts, images, and then sometimes I glimpse a sight of them as well.. although its more like seeing a faint star out of the corner of your eye... when you turn to see it clearly, the image has faded.

About 3 years ago I had my awakening so to speak...I went to a "dinner for the dead" on Samhain. For some one who had never experienced such a thing and wasn't even sure it was real... wow what an AMAZING experience.
We invited the spirits to dine with us.. we had all kinds of food, and we made a special serving tray just for them. The veil opened and we had a steady parade of spirits for several hours. Some just wandered through, some stayed and sat quietly, some wandered restlessly, and others had things to say. One was a cat, one was a police officer killed in the line of duty who desperately wanted to give his wife a message but didn't know how, one was a toddler aged boy who it turns out "belongs" to me and for some reason calls me "mommy" and who I can still feel with me occasionally to this day. One of the more experienced people there said that is possible that he was my child from my past life or a future life. I don't have any children now, but was pregnant once and lost the child in the second trimester.
Ever since that night, there are times when I just know someone is there. Sometimes they have things to say, sometimes they don't. I have a feeling, though, that there is more I need to know, that I can learn to have some control, and that I have a gift of some sort waiting to be developed. A buddhist monk told me one day after meditating with me, that I have a significant gift that will be of great help to people but it will need to be developed. Is this it? Not sure, but would like to take it further and see.

Yes I've seen them. But I will not be sharing stories because chances are they will not be believed and they'll be picked apart by those that amuse themselves by being closed minded... Sorry that's just my inner pessimist speaking... please don't be offended.

I'm chairentient, where I can "feel" them, who they are, etc. Sometimes I get a little empathic with them, too, which is difficult to deal with sometimes, depending on the energy they are giving off. That energy can be hard to shake.

I've been wondering about this one figure that I've seen, my brother has seen and my mom has seen on seperate occasions. My mom's trying to delude herself into thinking it's a shadow, but it wasn't going against any walls or tables or chairs it passes by. And the time of day it happend (for me) could not have produced a shadow as the light was on the other side and the blinds were closed and it seemed it was smack dab in the room.

What scared me about the other day when my dog stopped making noise and simply stared and my brother looked over and saw it was that, the night before, I got the feeling that someone (or something) was trying to contact me.

I soke to someone who can communicate with the spirits and they told me it's nothing to worry about. That this spirit only appears this way so that I don't associate it with anyone or anything. But um...that was kinda suspicious to me. But it's never hurt me or anyone that I know. And there were other times when I'd have times when I'm dreaming, but realize it and it felt like someone was walkin' through, but that was weird...

We fear that which we do not know. ;) I get scared at first too. But when I start learning more and more, I'll know whether or not it's necessary to be afraid.

I've been able to communicate with the dead for a while now. There's a little girl along with a cat and a few others who roam my house. The girls name is Annie. She seems to look up to as a big sister almost. She doesn't like to talk much and everytime I try to talk she tends to run, but she has a liking towards my parents touch lights next to their bed. ^^
