Okay, this has been confusing me for a while. I used to have dreams I could remember, maybe a vague snippet, or an extremely clear and odd vision like the ones I get when I'm sick, but I haven't been able to remember any dreams for ages and it's upsetting me. Has anyone any ideas, for spells, herbs, other ways to help me dream.

As you go to sleep try and think about some subject... and as you drift off you might start too dream about it...

When you wake up in the morning, every morning, try and think about what you dreampt about last night. If you remember something... anything, write it down, or atleast say it out loud, or in your head... something. The more you recognize your dreams the more you will remember.

Right now I am rembering my dreams about 4 times a week. Its great fun.

Last night I drempt I went and found my car, but it had been broken into and shoved in a ditch. It was also completly filled with snow. And as I stood by the car, I reached into my mouth, and pulled out one of my teeth. I then walked around, talked with some people... and then my dream fades...

Best of luck,
Don't let the bed bugs bite...

UnSolon, Your dream sound like you have had ,or about to have, your independence interfered with. Perhaps it suggests a dentist, or your personal appearance is going to be affected in some way. How often do you dream of your car being stolen or removed? That is an interesting dream.

It is not that you dont dream, you just dont remember, AT ALL. It takes practice:):):) It will come back.

And you must always remember, if you dont dream you go insane, It is a scientific fact

lol... your actually pretty right. I have been bugged almost constantly about calling the dentist. Not that their is anything about my teeth that bother me... its just my medical coverage is soon (today) expireing so my mother was trying to push me in that direction...

And as for the car... well, I NEVER dream about my car, since I dont have one (it was my mothers car) and last night, as I was trying to go home, it broke down, and we had to leave it where it stopped, so I think THAT is why it was in my dream. Otherwise I dont recall ever dreaming about a car. But hey.

Thanks for your input into my dream...

Peace...

Phoenixsong, there's a couple of threads in Divination about dream interpretations. They're actually class threads. I don't know if it will help but it might give you some ideas.

UnSolon, your dream was therefore prophetic! If you can remember, was it perceived in a sort of twilight or a clearly visible darkness?

Methane - a clearly visible darkness. It was definatly night, I could see the stars above.

Later in the dream, I went to some sort of building... (almost seemed like a bar) where there were lots of people comeing out.

I went inside the building, up a flight of stairs, and into a bathroom, where I looked at my tooth and realized you could barly see where it fell out.

Lol.

UnSolon, I wanted to verify about prophetic dreams. Whenever I have them, they always seem to take place in the clearly visible darkness -that is, it is dark but you can see everything. It is similiar to a dusk or twilight. Also, they are truly memorable, where one doesn't have to scrounge around in their memory to remember the content.

About the people coming out of abuilding, is probably an unrelated section of the dream. Were they just walking out or were they coming out in a panic?

Walking out, in leisurly manor. As if whatever was going on inside was finished.

Thanks for the tips, UnSolon. Actually I tried charging a fluorite crystal to help me remember my dreams, and put it in my pillowcase, and then I remembered the start of a dream (which was pretty weird, me going down some kind of slidey tunnel, which was leading to the 'dream world'. But I didn't remember anything after that, but maybe that's cos I got woken up with a start the next morning (late for school, ugh)). Thing is, it made me really tired the next day, but I don't have to get up till late anyway, so I'll try again tonight.

MistoftheSea, you sure I'm not insane? :D

I copied and pasted this from a site. Don't know if it works, but if you can aquire the items, good luck!

A good dream pillow recipe for having more dreams (sometimes prophetic) and remembering those
dreams is as follows.

1 part dry marigold flowers
1 part dry rose petals
1 part dry cinquefoil
2 parts dry chamomile flowers
4 parts dry wormwood leaves
4 parts dry lavender flowers
2 parts dry mugwort leaves
1 part dry rosemary leaves
1 part dry spearmint leaves
1 part dry elder flowers
1 part dry linden flowers and leaves
1 part dry passion flower

Combine all the herbs, stuff loosely into a cloth bag and tuck the bag inside a pillow. If you don't have all
the ingredients it is fine, use what you have. They are all designed to work together well but are not
dependent on each other. The Lavender & Wormwood are the most essential parts.

Hello Phoenixsong (what a beautiful name). I'm Bluebear. Merry Meet. I had the same problem for many years. (No dreams). I think it was because I had gotten away from the spiritual path and wandered aimlessly and allowed other responsibilities to cloud my mind. I have recently returned to the pagan path(I've come home) and guess what____ I can dream again. Sometimes you just need to change something in your life. Have you tried making some dream catchers?
Blessings
