#1 I need help getting my dreams more vivid/lucid/stong? Last night as usual mine felt very in and out, and as I woke up in the night I was trying to remember what I was dreaming and nothing was really coming to me. Don't know how to recall dreams either. I don't keep a dream diary as I find it hard since most of my dreams aren't stong enough to remember to be able to write anything.
#2 I want to do some past life work and not sure the best ways to start, meditation, dreams, divination? What are other ways?
How about dreaming of past lives?
I have crystals that are good for both that I can use.

Mugwort enhances psychic abilities, so you can keep that near your bed or drink a tea of it before sleeping. I think I recall scullcap is good for lucid dreaming, too.
I would say though, that you dont recall your dreams because you sleep deeply (is that right?) and I have heard that leaving a CD or tape on with highpitched / annoying (whatever :T ) sounds would make you sleep lighter (and it also reputedly aids astral projection). However, its a double-edged sword; I have the opposite problem as I'm a light sleeper, and although I always remember my dreams I never ever feel well rested :(

As a kid I was a heavy sleeper but that has changed. Since I was in the military & got accustomed to being alert and so since then I have become a light sleeper the past 8 yrs. Sometimes I sleep very deeply & sometimes I have very real dreams but for the most part its usually light on both accounts. Now that Bre is finally (FINGERS CROSSED) sleeping thru the night maybe I'll get out of that always listening for her thing moms do at night.
I do have the same trouble as you some, I can remember dreaming like every night and I feel it keeps me from resting well on occasion. But I want the dreams to be stronger so I can remember what I dreamed about. How you have some dreams that are so strong and real you really feel like your in them and you can wake up and say wow I thought I was really there. Ofcourse not the bad ones. LOL

There is a series of brain wave changes that form a cycle; i.e., alpha, delta, REM sleep....when we wake up, there is a tiny window in the cycle where we can remember our dreams and if it passes too quickly, the dream is gone, usually forever. I have had dreams come back later in the day but it's rare.
When you wake up, stay in bed as long as you can and try to remember. If you can't, write in your dream diary that you didn't remember your dream. Keeping a dream journal in itself can stimulate dreaming and remembering, so it's important to document that you didn't dream as well. It has the same psychological effect.
Lucid dreaming usually occurs in the last two hours of sleep, or after about six hours of sleep. Try getting up about two hours before you usually do. Get out of bed and read, preferably something about lucid dreaming, then go back to bed and sleep. You should really have a commitment to lucid dreaming and be willing to work at it. However - almost all people have lucid dreams. They wake up, go back to sleep and forget about them.

I wanted to come back and add to this thread after the recent week. My dreams have been more like I wanted, very vivid, strong and I really feel like I'm in them. Maybe because if the more chances to meditate lately. Last night I meditated with a piece of Lapis Lazuli and wow that stone got me deep, I meditated on meeting my spirit guide. I went to sleep with the stone under my pillow and last night I dreamed I was being taught by someone, I'm just sitting there learning and listening. I can't remember what I was learning tho. And not sure if the woman said she was my spirit guide or I just "knew". Don't think her name was mentioned. But either was its neat.
Along with two other much longer, very memorable dreams last night, one I got dragged for a short ways by a spirit pulling me by my ankles till my husband grabbed me and scared it off, then it did the same to another woman (the tour guide) and I tackled her to stop it and it left again;and the other one included hundreds of spirits that popped up out of nowhere but acted like zombies but they were see-thru and me and several other people were running from them. But both dreams took place at what looked like a plantation.
If you can interpret these please do. :ballonsmi

Kind of funny tidbit to add here. I was dreaming yesterday. Nick said I was laughing in my sleep as if I were awake. I thought it was odd. I was and have been doing this often someone else in my dream.
Of all people Jon Bon Jovi but he's been this odd recurring character in my dreams for a while now.
Why? Have no clue.
Never even bought any of his CDs.

I don't know if this is the same with everyone but all my spirit guides and my gatekeeper are from past lifes and by looking at them and asking them questions (using meditation and dowsing) i have been able to establish some of my going abouts in past lives. This isn't too hard to do unless you struggle with this stuff but i have never dreamt of a past life and ways may vary between people.
Hope that helped

Gatekeeper - You got 1 of them. They protect you and when people become possesed this can only happend through a joint agreement of your gatekeeper and yourself your gatekeeper also protects your body when you leave it to travel onto the astral plains for eg my gatekeeper is called Richard as am i and he was a power knight once and i thought alongside him in battle and we died together! We watched eachothers backs and know he is here to protect me as he did during battle in medieval times. hope that answers you question as i've got to go know should be on later today but if not won't be on until monday

Hello SeaPearls,
I often have lucid dreams. At one time I was not getting a clear picture of my dreams after I awoke. So I did a spell. Basically I asked for clairity of the mind and to remember. It worked and boy did I get what I wished for. I would also make a dream diary and keep it beside your bed. When you wake up just start thinking about what you dreamed about. Even if you think you didn't dream that night, ask yourself what were your dreams. It's sort of a mini meditation on it. Mine always started flashing back to me. Even if it does not make any sense whatsoever, write what you do see down. Even if you don't know the meaning then it may come to you later. Hope this helps.
