Thank you for the information. I wasn't too sure where each chakra was but this helped clear that up. :)

Since each chakra is assigned a stone in order to realign the chakras we would place a stone on each chakra to realign it. This I understand, but do we form energy threads between each stone to help realign or do we use the crystal resonance practice to do it?

In some ways I am so simple I need to see the actual hands on use to understand. lol

Thanks for posting this. I knew taking the charka class would help me have a better understanding of how things all come together and we are at that point now!

The energy flows both directions around the chakras, from root to crown and crown to root. At all times, the energy flows both ways unless blocked by a malfunctioning or weakend chakra.Sometimes, the energy is blocked from root to crown, sometimes the other way. In my practice, I lay single terminated quartz, between the chakra stones, pointing in the direction I wish the energy to flow according to the blockage.

The idea of laying on of stones is that you, by laying on the proper stones, will retune the light energy frequency of the corresponding chakra. Doing so allows the chakra to regain the correct vibration (resonance). However, you need to understand that laying on the stones only corrects the frequency(s) of the chakra(s), reenergizing the chakra(s) is done by other processes.

If you want to find your chakras, try this:

Place your little finger at the space just above and between your eyebrows. Keeping your little finger there, stretch your thumb and touch the top of your head. That is your Crown chakra.

Now leave your little finger at that spot and touch your throat with your thumb. Now you have found the crown, third eye and throat chakras.

From your throat, repeat the process down to your chest.. heart chakra. Do it again and you'll find the solar plexus chakra, just below your ribcage. Do the same thing once more and you have the second (creative, spleen) chakra.

If you have done this correctly, the next span (the space between little finger and thumb) will be between your legs in the genitalia area. That is the root chakra.

Interesting question. :) And you can technically do either.

Some people choose to link each chakra to a stone, and then link the stones together with an energy thread.

I use the crystal resonance method, personally, but it isn't the only way.

And... I still need to post info on crystal resonance, which I will get to this weekend. :)

I'd be interested to see someone try both methods, and tell us what works best for them... and why they think it did. Everyone is different, so one will work better for some of you, while the other method will work better for others.

Is each stone listed kinda like a "suggestion"? I mean....I was wondering....like for the 1st chakra could ya use a hematite instead? As long as the stone is black,it doesn't matter whatcha use right?
Just a curious troublemaker I am. _pounce_

Technically, yes, you could use a black stone, since black is one of the colors associated with the chakra.

The stones listed are the ones that are most commonly used in association with that particular chakra.

That doesn't mean that they are the only ones that you can use, or if you use something different that it won't work.
