Some of you might remember my search for a tarot card box for my friend MysticSouls graduation this year.
Well, her house caught on fire this morning. I guess it was an electrical fire that started in the attic above her bedroom. She's lost just about everything! She's very upset about losing her clothes and the tarot cards that I got her,but the tarot box that Caffiend made for her is still in tact. I dunno if she lost her BOS or not. There was some other damage to the house, but her bedroom is gone.
I would just appreciate any thoughts, energies or prayers that you can send her way. I'll give updates as I get them.
Thanks.

She must be devastated :( It does not sound like she or anyone else in the house was injured, at least that is already something.
Sending her lots of hugs, strength and positive energy for the days and weeks to come :hugz:

She is totally devastated! And you're right, noone was hurt in the fire and I'm very thankful for that. I'm just so worried about her. I guess she got a few things out of her room and tried to go back in for some more when she was stopped because her ceiling started falling down.
I just feel so bad for her.
I left a message on her cell and am waiting for her to call me back.
MysticSoul is like a little sister to me and I want to help her and hug her and tell her that everything is gonna be ok,which I will do as soon as I see her.
Thank you all so much for reading this, that in itself means a lot.

:hugz: I am sure she will appreciate your support and your friendship very much. House fires can be very traumatizing. A friend of mine lost her entire house in an electrical fire last year and she still has the occasional anxiety attack. MysticSoul will be in my prayers.

OMG I'm so sorry! Thankfully no one was hurt, through, that's a plus. But still to lose everything like that... everything that had such deep personal meaning... that's a toughie. Hugs and positive energy sent! :hugz: for you and her as well!

I talked to MysticSoul last night and she's being a real trooper about everything. She's acting like nothing ever happened, but when I was on the phone with her I could feel how upset she was. She forgets that I'm empathic. I was in tears. It just kills my soul that she's having to go through all of this pain at such a young age.
I think what upsets me most is that she just graduated high school just last month and now all of her memories are up in smoke. It wouldn't be as bad for someone who had been out of school for years, but to lose scrapbooks, diplomas, and things that you hold dear from classmates would just tear me up.
I told her about this thread and she wants me to thank everyone who has sent her energy, thoughts and prayers. It means a lot to her.

oh, the poor thing...sending love, peace and calm to her. :hugz:

Is there anything we as a community can do about this? Maybe find out what she still needs after the insurance, and maybe we can replace at least her magical stuff.....just a thought.

That is so sweet of you! If anyone wants to help with her magickal items that would be great and can PM me. Some people that I work with have offered to donate clothing so far but it's kinda hard to find people around my age who wear clothing like her.She normally buys her clothes at Hot Topics so I think I will go and get her a gift card so that she can get some "cool stuff". She said that anything would be good right now cause she's borrowing clothes to wear from her cousins right now.
I guess her family went to the house and got out all of their stuff today which sucked because MysticSoul didn't have anything to get out of the house, bless her heart. I can't even imagine how she felt when she saw all of them gathering up their stuff while all she could do was stand there and watch.
MysticSoul also told me that a week ago she was sitting in her room on her bed wondering,"If the house caught on fire, what would I grab first?" I guess she got a few things that she had thought about but there just wasn't enough time.
She also told me that her dad got up late for work that day and he's the one who got her out. I just can't help to think that if he had been on time that day,she prolly would have perished in that fire.
I can't help but think that there is a reason for every decision we make, and someone is always watching over us.
