When I use the term Dressing a candle.

When I use the term dressing a candle others may call it anointing.The first thing I do is cleanse my candle with charged water while focusing on intent.(Charged water=sea water or salt water)Then I choose an approiate oil to anoint the candle depending upon my intent.I work from the middle to either end covering the whole candle(I rub towards me for attracting and away from me for repelling.)while building an image of intent.then I etch a word or sigil that represents the intent with my athame.When I feel the candle is ready I place it on my altar and light it with a match.Then I focus and meditate on the flame seeing the desired outcome.


I am posting this because I have had a few PMs asking what I meant by dressing a candle.
