This is a layout I found in the Power Tarot by Trish MacGregor
1----------2-----------3
------4----------5
1) Your current life direction
2) The lesson you're learning
3) What you're moving toward
4) Your long-term objective
5) What will help you attain your objective
I haven't tried this one yet, but thought I'd give it a try tonight or tomorrow.

Here's another one from the same book:
---------------7
-------4------5------6
---------------3
-------1-------------2
1) The direction you're giving your inner self now
2) How your external reality reflects tihs
3) How to empower your inner self to change your reality
4) How your out self will respond to this new directive
5) How your life will shift as a result
6) What you will create
7) Your new path
Haven't tried this one yet either. There are so many in this book. LOL

I really like all the spreads at the back of that book. I'm working through all of them, and keeping the ones that seem to work the best for me.
There's one I've been using a lot - I'm doing this from memory so let's see if I get it right:
Should I/ Shouldn't I
1 - 2 - 3 ......... 4 - 5 - 6
----7---- .......... ----8----
--------------9-------------------
1-3 What happens if I do
4-6 What happens if I don't
7 Outcome if I do
8 Outcome if I don't
9 What I need to know to make the choice

I am hoping to find more time in the near future for reading. I have been so busy lately that I haven't done much of anything like this much (or as much as I'd like). I am glad these have been helpful.
The should I/Shouldn't I spread would confuse me everytime for some reason. It seemed like the answers were the opposite of what I would think they should be. I will have to try this one again to see if I can make sense of it now. I tried it when I was first learning so I'm sure there'd be a difference now. Thanks for sharing.

Wow, I have to get trying some of these.. I'm trying to find a spread that I really like so I don't have to keep changing from all sorts of other ones. (I never really did like the Celtic Cross)
And I'm always looking for new spreads to learn. :)

Well then, I'll just have to keep putting up some new ones.
I wonder if I should start a threat called Tarot Spreads? Then when we have new layouts we could post them there. Kind of like an archive. Hmm, that would be cool don't you think?

Yeah, cuz there are so many spreads flying around in the forum, it's hard to track all of them down. (I'm still trying!)
It'll keep all the info in one spot and then it's easier to access all of 'em at once.

Oh wow, SV, that would be great. I'll bet there are lots of them to find too. I hope you find the time soon. Can you fix a stuck thread so that you can keep adding new spreads?
