Numerology help?

Hello everyone...

I've been wondering about numerology, looked at a few books on it and I find that I just don't know where to begin understanding it. It's not like I want to become a complete authority on that specific subject, but I do want to know at least my number or something? Not exactly sure but isn't there supposed to be a number for everyone or something? Gosh, as you can tell I do not know what I'm talking about when it comes to that and I really would like to at least know my number or how to figure out what it is... help would be welcome and appreciated.

well, according to the book i have, each person has 3 numbers, your name number, which is where you assign numbers to letters and add up the letters in your name. then there is your destiny number, which is your entire birthdate added up, and your psychic number is where you add the digits in the day of the month you were born...

AIJQY=1
BCKR=2
GLS=3
DMT=4
NE=5
UVWX=6
OZ=7
FHP=8

so my name number would be:
BRITTANY MARIE ANN *******
2+2+1+4+4+1+5+1+4+1+2+1+5+1+5+5+1+7+8+5+3+7+5=89 -> 8+9=17 -> 1+7= 8

destiny number:
06/29/1988 -> 6+2+9+1+9+8+8=43 -> 4+3= 7

psychic number:
29 -> 2+9=11 -> 1+1= 2

then each number has a different meaning and different planetary corrsepondances and such, but you can look those up online if you want to know more about that...
