I was wondering about some of the main cultures and relgions and society and government patterns in these areas until around 1,500 C.E.
I know about lots of trade with the Sahara. I'd also like more info on the Berbers.
With Mesoamerica, I'd like some with the Olmecs.
And, how did physical geography influence developement in the earliest African societies, espeically the Sahara?
thanks for the help and karma points to all who do :)

Okay, I'm assuming you're currently taking a global history or western civilization course. This sounds like a homework question, not a curiosity question.
Just want to make sure that if you are, you're actually studying the material as opposed to just asking us to do it. ;)

I've read all 30 of 36 pages and am finishing it tonight. Trust me, I've done a lot!
I just learn a lot better by additional sources. Pictures help me a lot too. I do all that's required, but I like to do more. I'm also into additional stuff. They barely touched on the relgions and deities in my book. Thbey list a couple by name, but don't say if they're the sun god, the earth god, or anything else.
I'm also interested in Mesoamerican ballgames. It very briefly describes that it was probably religous and there were human sacrifices to the losers. I figure this site may have people who may know a bit more too.
With asking about the crusades and the Renaissance earlier, I learn a lot more from artowrk and looking at architecture.
And, its not laziness or stupidity, but I learn so much better by documentaries and movies too. I learn from lectures and my teacher has us read ahead and not talk about the material until after we're quized, so its very hard. I've put in many hours every week.
I especially think here would help with the religoius things. We may not even be quized on that. But, I'm interested in these types of things for myself too since I like to go beyond what's required.
I'm not using people to do work for me. The wording in my book is very compacted and some things are left out too.
