Ever have one of those days...

Ever have one of those days when you feel like you're invisible? You say something funny, and the one person who happened to be listening to you repeats it louder, and he gets the laugh? :geez: Or you reply to a thread with a very carefully thought-out and worded post, and a few posts down someone else repeats what you said, and they're the one everyone is responding to? :wtf: Or it's that time of the month, and your husband stops at the gas station and brings everyone home a roll of Sprees except you, and the foul man doesn't even bother to get you chocolate instead? :sadeyes:

I remember Lunacie and some others posting something like this a while back, so I know that feeling invisible is at least somewhat universal, but I felt like pouting about it. (Especially the lack of chocolate; I'm grieving about that one.) Anyone care to join me in my sulk? :wah:

Yeah, sometimes I get ignored. Maybe that's why I talk so dang loud in person...

It's a shame we're not neighbors, Aurora - someone gave me a ridiculously large amount of really nice European dark chocolate nearly a year ago and I still have tons left. I'd share with you if I could. The stuff really hits the spot! If this happens again, maybe I can overnight you some. ;)

sometimes it aint so bad.I like to be totally invisible sometimes.its why i travel alot on my own.

Helps with meditation, helps with calming the spirit, helps lots of stuff.

Really helps with getting a break from this crap world.

People don't usually listen to me. It's that plan and simple. That's why I would not make a good supervisor or a boss. *shrug*

I try my best to advise and what not but I truly believe most of the time, no one is getting it.
