Sun Sprite

Sounds odd, doesn't it? Last year, we had two sunny days in the three months of summer. This year, we have had two showers during the three months of summer, and those only lasted a few minutes, and were completely dry after an hour at most. The heat has been beautiful. Only problem is the water table here isn't like the one in Texas, it can't handle it. Neither can the plants. We, like many others planted a large amount of bushes a few years ago. last year, they were nearly washed away. this year, we are watering them nearly everyday. Now, there are pasiing "Do not Water" ordinances, and makeing it illegal to water your plants in this area. Sorry, I don't think watering plants is a waste of water, we need them for oxygen, especially with the city so near. I don't ask for myself, but for everyone in this suddenly desert region surrounded by mountains, please allow the rain to come to us instead of going all around us. All the leaves are falling off the old trees. It has been in the 90's all summer, and here, we rarely see two days of 90 degrees the whole summer.
