Bad drought

It's so parched and dry here where I'm at, it's depressing! I haven't seen a drought this bad since '99, plus high temps in the upper 90s doesn't help either :( Is anyone else's area going through the same thing?

I'm in N.E Arkansas and things are parched here. I don't even remember the last time we had a good soaking rain..

I am in Northeastern Oklahoma, it looks like it is going to rain today. It got all windy and looked like rain last night, but no luck. There hasn't been rain here in over a month.

Lordy! It rains here about every day....grounds pretty much saturated......we can spare you a bit....

oh yea, im going through the same thing. i live in south east missouri, and the temps here are near 100 all the time. the heat index is always near 110. its sooo dry here, the Mississippi river is dangeresly low. most bardges that go down it hit the bottom of the river. i hpe we get rain soon

I live in North Carolina and we finally got out of our drought that has lasted at least 10 years...my best friend lives in Lexington Ky and she's been talking about the lack of rain there and how brown it is...

It has been pretty dry in New England as well......and humid too

It was like that here until about 3 days ago and now its been raining almost nonstop. I dont mind it thought. My garden needed all this rain. But its still in the 90's with high humidity.

Oddly enough, with the surfeit of rain we had last year and the beginning of this year, we're actually doing ok with water. But So Cali is mostly desert anyhow in climate. We are also having record humidity this Summer...kinda sticky and yucky, which is not the norm for us--we usually have tons of Santa Anas that breeze through and turn all the foliage into tinder.

So are we! It rained here last night and the grass is already a bit greener. :dancy: More is supposed to be on the way too :sunny:

The clouds produced the results, it rained for about four hours that evening and then some the next day. Now the lawn is about shin high and the lawnmower is broken.

I love rainy days. But I love sunny days too.
