View Full Version : Who could this be?

Yesterday I performed a small ritual for The Morrighan to accompany me through my day, as she is my Matron Goddess.

Last night I was thinking, while falling asleep, about what I'd do to thank her for the great day I had. I dosed off for what seemed like seconds and got an image of a woman looking at me while walking through a forest (I saw this forest in a meditation before but nobody was there).

She was wearing, what I believe, was a celtic green dress. She had long, wavy, brown hair. That's all I saw, it only lasted a few seconds.

Does anyone have a guess as to whom this might be? :whatgives

Could she be your spirit guide? A new one that coming into your life for a special reason? Is there any major happenings going on right now in your life?

It could be a spirit that the Morrighan sent you for some reason. Or maybe it was actually her.

I think this whole year from the very beginning has a been a major happening, lol. But I've had The Morrighan there with me through it all.
This young woman could be a spirit guide, I don't know?

The young woman in my short dream had an amused look on her face for some reason.

I've never had the chance to "see" The Morrighan, just feel Her presence. That's why I'm so excited to know who the woman is. From what I've researched she had nothing that would make one think she's the Morrighan. The predominant color was green. The forest, her dress.. Maybe I'm reading too much into this. Maybe it wasn't anyone, just a normal dream with no apparent message. I'm rambling now..

Thanks for the input. I appreciate it. _cookie_

next time, go into a medaitative state, call upon this 'person' and ask them.

it never ceases to amaze me at the number of people who upon meeting a deity or spirit fail to even ask them who they are... then go to a site like this with hardly any information and expect people here to know.

this may not have been a spirit or deity but might be a hint, that the best way to say thanks is to get out there into the land around you nd start to appreciate it and study it more

Perhaps she was an ancestor, or perhaps she might have been you, like in a past life opr something. Or maybe your immortal soul.

As I said.. it was a very short dream. I was not meditating.
I dosed off for a few seconds, saw the young woman and was awakened almost immediately.

No, I didn't "just come to this site and expect people to know". I'm a regular member here.
I researched and looked around for information on a deity associated to what little details I could see.

I don't know if I'm being over-sensitive, but you could've been a little less defensive. Geez.

You were the one who came to this forum with the question...any opinions good or bad is inevitable to follow, no matter how simple the question is. Why get so defensive yourself? There's no point in getting upset when someone posts their opinion. Also, it helps when you actually read their post to understand what they are saying before you start sniping back.

Just my opinion.

 I don't get upset over opinions. It's the 'assuming' that bothers me.
Maybe I did misread ancestral_lee's post and his comment wasn't directly at me, and if I did my appologies to him.

No need to throw wood into the fire. :achillpil

Actually, these threads always turn out like this because there are alot of judgmental people on MW who think they can tell you how you should have behaved in *your* experiences. :) I posted a thread similar to this one and you should have seen the emails I got!

Anyway, how did seeing the person make you feel? There are several good spirit guide meditations out there. I especially love the one by Sylvia Browne. Even if this woman wasn't a spirit guide, perhaps contacting a spirit guide can help you solve the riddle of your vision. It's my opininon that sometimes we see things like this just as a prod to start opening us up to our psychic selves. :)

I actually kind of hesitated before creating it because I wasn't sure if it would bring the drama that so frequently goes on in threads like these for no reason.

I'm not sure how she made me feel, I just woke up surprised to have seen her. She seemed to be amused and maybe even taunting me. She seemed to be moving around me, circling me.

I wasn't afraid, I didn't sense any negativity from her. Now that I think of it.. she made me feel silly, if that makes any sense.

I'm with ya on this one. If this had happened to me I would be very excited and would want to share and get others opinions on it! I am excited for you! Have you found anything out yet as to who she might have been?

This happened to me last year and I was so stunned that I there was no possible way I could have asked who this person was. When my mentor suggested to me that I meditate on it and ask, I decided to do just that. And as soon as the words came out of my mouth I was given the answer. It was amazing, so I know how you feel!

Hey Aislin1313, thanks for posting! I'm definitely going to give that a try. Though my meditation skills need a lot of improvement. :twitch:
