I've never posted in this forum before. So if this topic is better suited for another, please tell me. Anyway... :) I decided that I haven't been doing a very good job at implementing Wiccan beliefs into my daily life. You know. It's like when you whack your brother for being a pain and then realize that it was wrong. So I've started breaking down the Rede into parts, and concentrating on one part a week. I was wondering if you guys could give me your ideas on how to interpret different parts. It would really help me in my Craft journey and I'd really apreciate it. This week I've started with:
Live and let live.
Fairly take and fairly give.
Thanks!

this may sound like a whacked out view on it, but I personally take that similar to the golden rule: do unto others as you would
have them do unto you. Live your life and let others live theirs. Fairly take and fairly give is a bit like not being too greedy, in many senses; think of karma in a way, or balance if it's an easier perspective.
I always relate this to how I "taught" my cats to be nice. Whenever they bitched I acted like I couldn't understand what they wanted, but if they started purring or wanting me to pet them, I would give them food and do whatever they want. Now they are always really nice when they need something, and they never bitch.
It comes down to communication in a way, and I try to ignore negative communication just because there's always a better way to say something, and negativity can be vampiric in a certain sense...
