ok,ok I know this could be anything but it kinda made me think of ghosts.
OK picture the scene, my mum's bedroom is exactly opposite my bedroom, mum's bedroom door is wide open and mum and I can both see my room clearly from our chairs.
NOTE:my door was firmly closed to make sure the dogs did not get in and jump every where.

ok,me and my mum are looking and then we see the door handle pushed down by nothing, then the door opening real quick and then I heard a sort of thump sound which wasn't related to the door opening, later when I was in my room before i went to sleep,I was drawing at my desk and I heard a girlish giggle,my mum was asleep and I have no sisters or any other relations apart from mum and her boyfriend in the house, the window was also closed. Just a bit weirded out and wondering if my house is haunted, other things have happened but i've put them down to other things, but this has got me thinking
well thanks for reading this and please tell me what you think.

Don't rule out the mundane. Air pressure can pop doors open, and closed, depending on how said pressure is travelling through a house. No-one has to touch them, either.

Is your house close to the street? Could people have been passing by chatting and laughing around the time you heard the giggle?

I don't know if wind can cause a door handle to turn or not...lol. I once lived in a house that had some strange going-on's taking place. Spooky stuff.

All the best,

Hmmm, could be a spirit teasing you I reckon. I've had one toying with me lately......either that or I'm going crazy ;)

Good luck.

Spirits are around always, I have never lived somewhere where at least one hasnt made itself known to me.. I know it has to do with my gift of speaking with the dead, you see the veil between the living and the dead is thin for me,:ghostie: I can see and talk to others who have passed I also speak to the ones who are waiting.. yes children on their way.. I told my Mother the sex and general appearnce of all my brothers and sisters born after I was.. I also saw my own children, and spoke to them before they arrived I know weird..but it is one of my special gifts :broomride
