Ok. What does everyone think about combining the Celtic and Egyptian forums into one forum called...
History
Pagan History
Etc.
Give me some suggestions.
Moderators will be Nailso and Verbena.

Works better than combining Celtic and Druid. I'd say, go for it! ;)

Well, we would be moving quite a few of the posts in the Celtic forum to the Druid forum, but we would be moving 'history' specific to the new History forum.
This is not cut in stone. Still up in the air by the way.

Hehehe. Egypt and Celtic 'going together' just made me blink :) At least this kind of housekeeping isn't my problem! <d gr r>

Thats just it...
instead of having just two forums dedicated to Celtic history and Egyptian history. I want to have just One forum dedicated to ALL history.
Some place you ask about Mesopotamia as well as Arthur. The Mayans and the Pharoahs.

It might work.... but if there is a lot of posts it might get a little cluttered....

Mol and I already had this discussion and I absolutely do not think that Celtic and Druid should be combined. They're very distinctive things!
Now, a history forum would be good. :)

in my humble opinion, i think it would be a good idea to have just a general history forum...so much easier that way, and EVERYTHING can go in there..celtic...mayan...indian...egyptian...the list goes on.
blessings, bans.

How did I know that if anyone had a smarta** comment, it would be my woman? And, she beat me to any smarta** comment I could try to make!
Personally, I think a history forum would be great for those of us who have no idea (like me) what is out there. Anything I could learn would be great for me. As for the mixing thing, I would also think that the forum would be overrun with posts from members trying to give their findings on history.
I'll be truthful, I have no idea where to look to for the history I want to know. Unless it is plainly written saying 'History' somewhere in the member post, I would not know what to look for.
Thank you, and forgive my babbling.
*He keeps going, and going, and going, and going...*:D

BRAVO!!! For as I like to say, "All Druids were Celts but, not all Celts were Druids."
While I'm here, I want to say Hi to you all and I am really pumped about the thread on Boudica being that Andrasta is my Patron Goddess! For those who don't know, that is the goddess Boudica called upon in the uprising.
Peace!

Right on! People mixing up the Celts/Druids rates right up there with people saying the Irish were Celtic. I don't think so! People need to learn to read their history better! Or just learn to read better. :D

Greetings All.
sorry i didn't catch this discussion as it was going on, i was fighting the flu...nasty version; had me on my back for a week. I tried to sit at the computer but...well let's just say that after a few min. i crawled back into bed leaving the thing on.
I was going to say that i thought the idea of mixing the celtic and egyptian forums wouldn't be a good idea but the i started reading what a few people had to say about celtic and druids and i knew it was a good idea!
I don't know much about the history of the celts or the druids but i always thought they were similar if not one and the same.....so sue me and teach me a lesson.
On with the forum!!!!
