I was just wondering what crystals you guys would suggest for keeping with a set of tarot cards. Currently I have amethyst, clear and smokey quartz, flourite, lapis, lepidolite and labrodorite, and I'm wondering if this is a good or a bad combo, if there's something better, or if I should just toss the idea all together. :p I'm trying to use the innate energies of the crystals to enhance, protect and cleanse the cards all at the same time. Thoughts?

Hiya,
Do you keep them altogether at the same time?
Id say it probally isnt a good idea tokeep them all together because they all have such different energies and can bounce off each other ~ the simplest way to pair crystals is by colour ~ keep the ones with the same colour with eachother.. but if youve got a book you can also look inot them more and pair them for other qualities.
For your tarot work Id say ~ Amythest, Lapis and Flourite are excellent!! But then again.. thats just my opinion ;) They are all very good for opeing up your insights, calming, cleansing and communicating.
If its working for you, keep it that way...
You can also lay these out while you are doing the reaidng and maybe you might feel drawn to one of the stones for some reason or issue that comes up in the reading... or your querrant might and might find it relaxing and helpful to hold this stone as you are reading for her :)
Crystals are amazing and very simple.. but if you start mixing them all up together thats when there energies bounce and combine and that can get a bit complicated.
Good Luck :sunny:

What I do, is hold the cards in one hand then pick up a crystal and see what the feeling I get is. If I like it or not. I have found that I like the energy for my Rider Waite deck with amethyst and quartz. My Robin Wood likes to be with my Moonstone. My Sacred Circle like to be with my Lemurian Seed Crystal. As each deck and each crystal has it's own "feelings"....so do the combinations of these. ;)

Another friend of mine told me that usually the crystals that resonate well with your energies, will also work well with the cards you use since they're both in tune with you.

Yeah right on!! But I figure a few more than three would rebound and bounce of eachother too much. Maybe just choose three or so of your favourite ones? :)
