My friend just had her baby late last night. After about two weeks of on again off again contractions. She was over the ten month mark...so is very relieved, to say the least.
The Baby's name is Sierra Dawn Flowers, and weighed 6 lbs, 10 oz.
The birth was extraordinarily easy, compared to the horror stories I heard. No epesiotomy, no forceps, no problems what so ever. And it wa all natural. Heather underwent hypno birthing, spa treatments, acupuncture etc..to assist her in the delivery, plus drank black and blue cohosh, raspberry leaves, and squaw vine in the last few weeks of the pregnancy to assist the birth, as well
Mom and Child are doing wonderfully. Heather sounds tired, but not in pain.
