Why didn't it work?
You didn't mention what correspondences you used, and you didn't mention how long you've waited. Just because nothing happened yet doesn't mean it won't sometime. You have to be patient. :)
Is it wrong to help someone? What do you think? You have to remember, your practice is totally up to you, so if you don't think it was bad it wasn't IMHO. Personally I think helping someone with their permission or helping yourself is not only fine but good, as long as there are mundane avenues being followed too - for example if you do a spell to get a million dollars then decide not to work, that spell's not likely to happen. You might also want to think about if your husband hasn't gotten a job yet because the best job for him hasn't come up yet. Be patient. :)

Did you set any time frame that you wanted the spell to work? Was your husband open to the idea of the spell? As Myst said, sometimes, these things take a bit of time. Especially if you didn't set any kind of time frame. How did you word the spell? Did you ask for a specific type of job for him? Again, like Myst said, the right job may not have come up yet. Good luck! :)
And hi & welcome to mysticwicks, Gwen! Glad to have you here.

Spells take time.....It's not like oh my gosh I wish for a pony and the next day a beautiful pony is outside in the backyard...
Time can be anywhere from a second to many months later.

I agree. You seem to be doubting your spell too soon and in my opinion spells take a lot of willpower and belief that they will work. Good Luck :)

Just keep your spirits high.
If your spell doesn't work, try another one or something else.
Good Luck.

seem to be the only wiccan in salem, virginia. have tried to email several others, but no repleys. sorry, about my spelling , i,m alittle
nervous. i,m a little lonley for someone to talk to about my new
faith. i,m a 46yr. old wife and mother. my son is 19 and he and his girlfriend live with my husband and i. we have 3dogs,4 cats. and a ferret. i love, love animals. i was attracted to the beauty of the wiccan faith . i was a christian for 20yrs. but never found any happiness or peace. to be exact, i was one of jehovah,s witness.
a very strict, religion. i am so amused now, because as one of jehovah,s witness, we were not allowed to celebrate any of the major holidays, because they said they were of pagan origin and christians shouldn,t have anything to do with pagan things, how ironic.! anyway , sorry to be rattling on, just thought i would tell everyone a little about myself. sure would appreciate a response.
love and light, gwen

Hi there, welcome!! ^_^
sometimes spells are like how Christians regard god. . . . "god works in mysterious ways." To me, spells sometimes do something different than you expected, but in the end if you meant them to be helpful, then they are. ^_^ plus they take time
and I'm a firm believer in wishes!! "starlight, starbright, first star I see tonight". . . THAT spell has always worked for me! ^_^ used it constantly as a little kid, and got what I wished for. Our low low income family went to disneyland, I found an incredible group of friends (it took THAT wish ohhh give or take about 12 years, but. . . it was worth it, my life is coming. . . well, alive! hehe), my life is taking direction. . . heck, my hair is getting longer like I wished! LOL! ^_^
Sometimes just give it time. Life may have it in store for you, and listen ^_^

Dear Gwen,
Magick can be a dark horse. Sometimes it works and sometimes not and sometimes it yields unexpected results. It frequently takes time along with your continued faith and will power to give the spell enough momentum to do what you want. Please dont give up. Be patient. You will see results when the time is right.
Blessings
Bluebear
P.S. Remember; never, never, never give up.
