What does this mean?!

This is really more of a personal post, but I get the feeling there's a lot of smart and good people here, so I'm going to ask your opinion on something. It partly has to do with what got me into magick to begin with, and the direction it's taking me...


Here's the thing. There are many signs I've had that say I've been put here for a reason, something very important and not for myself either. The longer I've been studying, the more things I put together, and it's just weird. Here's just the quick list that somebody may have some insight into:

Last name Haslett/Hazlett, means literally "Hazel Grove Dwellers," under the Druid calendar I was born on the Hazel moon, I was born with a white birthmark of the Isle of Great Brittain on the left side of my chest, which "points" to my heart, and the same year I started studying magick, was the year I met my current 'girlfriend' and incidently the same year she became a Witch (neither of us knew the other was doing this..some 6 years ago).

All that and I'm only 23, yeesh! I personally felt the last name had something to do with the Tuatha De Danaan, as I have much Irish blood in me, and upon studyign that link I found many of the Hazletts originally migrated from areas in Ireland close to the 'faerie mounds.' When I realized I was born under the Hazel moon (9th moon, Coll), it was like :uzi:!


but does everyone think I'm crazy, or does someone maybe have any other ideas, or what? I never really get to talk to this about anyone. Besides all this, upon my becoming a Witch this year, I received a gift from the Goddess, which was a couple dead Great Horned Owls that just appeared near the house of a shaman friend (a few weeks apart, but still; rather odd don't you think?). She felt it was time for her to pass on some Owl energy, so part of the dear blessed thing resides with me now. It's weird too, it feels like it was meant as a gift, when I hold it and all.

Anyways, I'm babbling, any ideas?? :ugh:

It certainly sounds as if you didn't forget much through your incarnation! Congratulations. It sounds as if everything is falling into place. Keep walking that path. You are well guided! I am happy for you. There are no "coincidences" only what you need at the [right] time.

hmm this sounds VERY important! ^_^ congrats, you have a clue as to you life! hehe

For me, a LOT of things have been coming to mind, coming apart, learning, coming together, being reinforced, generating new ideas and OLD OLD memories. . . all in the past year -_-;

I think that a lot of people have a "higher purpose". . . but we don't really understand ours, any of us. We try to follow our heart and the true guidence we recieve. . . just try to do what's right, I guess.

My thoughts are that everyone has a purpose in this life and the potential to create positive change - *everyone*. All we can do is continue living our life and continue learning and strive to our own goals. If you do have a "higher purpose" then only time and knowledge will help it find you.

I dunno, there's a lot of things I know that I shouldn't. I think it's more a matter of recognizing it than attaining it. I don't believe in any one truth; truth and fact are two different things..
