Heathenism is for girls too
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Whew...was in the astral again last night.

I was able to dissolve my physical body quickly through the levels.

I was showing off to my mentor and she was advising me not to go so far, (she wasn't able to travel like me.)

But I didn't listen...I was a hot shot and unafraid...I went beyond space and there was only darkness...I wanted to push the limits of exploration and flight.

I credit this astral travel experience to this...

I'm reading Beowulf and I've been a little daunted at the absence of the mention of women in the story. Except to offer a cup to Beowulf and warm the bed for the king.

However I am learning that gender doesn't make a difference in the Heathen religion. The concepts and virtues hold true for us all and what a gift to have the Gods of the North coupled with the freedom this age brings for women.

Beowulf's heroism and courage are rubbing off on me. A girl in the year 2005, imagine that!!!

I'm feeling more confidant and courageous...LOL...it's empowering!!!

Anytime you stretch the boundaries, experiment, a flip the system upside down ...

That's what I'm talking about! If people keep thinking like that, I won't have to date wiccans anymore! :heybaby:

On a serious note, yeah, it's for all of Heimdall's children. Wassail.
