Does anybody have information (or places to get info) on Thanatos. I've done research myself, but would like to see what you all have as well. Many thanks.<3

I looked it up :boing:
"THANATEROS is a composite word made up of the names of the ancient Greek God of love, Eros; and the ancient Greek God of Death, Thanatos."
Sex/Love and Death... interesting.
I didn't find anything too useful on the subject though.

Are Thanatos and Thanateros the same?
I'm reading about Thanatos from the Theoi.com article. ( I love that site.) There seems to be a lot on him. I'm wondering why would the Greeks be reluctant to talk about a major deity like Hades but mention Thanatos in a number of texts.

Are Thanatos and Thanateros the same?
Just for the little I read last night...I'm not sure. Thanateros is- Thanatos and Eros mushed together. So it seems similar to the Sekhmet-Hathor thing (combining).
