(I couldn't figure out where to put this questions. The Green Room and M&R didn't seem quite right . . . I thought about one of the Marketplace forums, but I'm just not sure. I did a search for "incense" to try and guage it that way and most of the threads that came up where in Just Silly, which is not right at all :p So please move it to wherever you think it belongs.)
I was wondering what everyone's opinion of Wildberry Incense is and if anyone could tell me about the quality. I've been told that certain people will travel miles and miles to get it and wouldn't use any other brand. However, the places where I've seen it most are gas stations and tobacco stores and it looks and smells to me like it is made pretty cheaply, and has artificial color added.
Am I missing something here?

Is Wildberry the brand name? I haven't heard of it before...
ETA: I googled it and here is what I came up with...looks as though it is a premium incense, and I am assuming not the same as is sold at the gas station :)

Wow I found out my sister got some of this.. I don't know how good of quality it is as I don't know how to judge that. But they have a kind called "Fizzy Pop" which is what we got--and it smells just like soda! It's unbelievable, I didn't really think of soda as having a smell..

Oh yeah, they sell that at my favorite craft store. I didn't even know that was the brand, but I'd know Matador anywhere. That stuff will knock you on your butt, I swear. :) I've only bought and used their dragon's blood, frankincense, jasmine and amber, but I've liked them. They're not "stinky" incense. More true to form, I guess you'd say.
And here I thought the incense at that store was pricy... from the info on the site there, it looks like I'm getting a great bargain!

One of my personal faves is Primo incense...they have one called Russian Rhu Khus that I just love!

I've heard of Wildberry's. It's in Oxford Ohio, the store I mean, not too far away from me. They sell incense, oils and all kinds of stuff. Their stuff smells great! I don't think that it's cheaply made at all. Here they mostly sell their stuff in Malls.
I didn't know they sold stuff in states other than Ohio and Indiana. COOL!

No, it is exactly the same stuff sold in gas stations here. I guess I just have different standards for what makes an incense premium. Funky smells are nice, but that's not what I'm looking for when I buy an incense -- especially for ritual use.
