I bought a beautiful green jade necklace and I wore it today. Well to be honest I felt more dizsy then usual. Sort of out of balance. Could this be the jade. It kind of uprooted my day, as I couldnt think straight.

is it a light green necklace ?

if so its possible (and very likely) to be serpentine aka New Jade, which could explain the dizziness a bit

but of course ewven the best stones can make you feel bad if you wear them sans prior cleansing/recharging
and
or
if you wear a stone not fiotting your needs

Hey Czech... I have an old old jade bracelet - a solid bangle - of a pale toothpastey green jade which I got from an antique shop (well ok... he was buying items - probably illegally - from archaeologists and ameteur archaeologist from foreign countries, and selling them on... but thats still techinically an antique shop ). Its very old and looks very well-worn.

Anyway, long story short - if I took a photo of it would you be able to tell me what kind of jade it is? Or is the description "toothepaste greeny-blue" enough? :b

its probably jade, i say probably, because jad eis best told by touch

the colours you describe do qualify it for either: jade or jadeite, which are both refered to as jade by the common people :)

tell me how it feels after cleansing

cleansing info is here:
http://de.msnusers.com/czechwoodsgems/jade.msnw (http://de.msnusers.com/czechwoodsgems/jade.msnw)
and serpentine
http://de.msnusers.com/czechwoodsgems/serpentine.msnw (http://de.msnusers.com/czechwoodsgems/serpentine.msnw)

you cannot tell easily by the colour whether it is 'new jade' serpentine or jade because the serpentimne comes in colours and shades of jade. the only way to get a little hold is a scratch test with a crystal point (quartz). if it is NOT scratchable its jade - meaning if no mark is left after scratching

if it is scratchable it may be or maybe not jade there only experts can say, and you need to touch it
