A Quebec innkeeper claims to have picture proof that the legendary monster of Lake Massawippi exists.
Although it doesn't enjoy the status of Ogopogo -- the country's most famous water monster said to inhabit Lake Okanagan in the south central B.C. interior -- "Whippy" has been alive in local monster folklore.

It looks like a dolphin's snout sticking out of the water.

I agree, but dolphins aren't supposed to exist in land-locked canadian lakes. :wtf:

I also think it looks exactly like a dolphin- and who says the pic was taken where he says it was? There are no landmarks on the pic- just the dolphin and the water....

HorseCrow makes a very good point. We have no way of knowing where that picture was taken. We have to assume the photographer was being honest, and with hoaxes being as easy to pull off as they are nowadays, that's not a good assumption to make.
In addition, "aren't supposed to" doesn't mean much in the world of cryptozoology. Lake monsters "aren't supposed to" exist at all.

:uhhuhuh: looks like a dolphin or a seal, to me.
On a tangent, a TV channel over here put a fake Lochness Monster in Loch Ness, to make a TV programme from all the people who phoned up and thought it was real ;)

Looks to me like it could be damn near anything floating in the water.
