So the T-Fal stuff I had been using was fading fast..... then I saw a great set on sale at Costco at an awesome price! It's Circulon and an 11 piece set that includes glass lids. I am sooooo happy with it and how evenly it cooks!! Things heat up faster and definitely non stick.

You got a good deal! That's good cookware. Even though you can put it in the dishwasher, don't! The extreme environment of the dishwasher will hurt most any cookware. The glass lids are fine to put in there, but your cookware will live a long life if you hand wash it.

Thanks for the dishwasher tip..... *holds up hands* but these babies are the only dishwashers we have LOL But hopefully we will happily be using this cookware for many years to come that at some point we will have a dishwasher. And I will remember your advice.

Nice! You definitely got a deal. I always see cookware sets and think how pretty they are, but dropping the whole amount isn't possible. I have people tell me they like MY cookware... my pots and pans came from a restaurant supply place, it's the same type of cookware that I learned on in culinary school!! It's not pretty by any means, it's just all brushed steel and I have 2 nonstick skillets from Wear Ever... if they only knew that half of them were bought used!
I hope you enjoy years of use out of them. Maybe I'll check my Costco and see if they have them, $160 is doable for me and I wouldn't mind some pots that look a little more appealing.

Wonderful for you!

I love All-Clad and am going to be phasing it in a piece or so at a time (the saucepan/steamer cost me almost $200, but it's worth it). I have Cuisinart but it's not nearly as good as the All-Clad. I do love Cuisinart appliances though--their can opener is really good (and before anybody says anything, I have tendonitis and my husband is disabled so we NEED an electric can opener), and I love their blender.

I just bought a new 10-piece set of Cuisenart stainless from Bed, Bath and Beyond. It was only $149, and it's awesome cookware. It's definitely 'lifetime' cookware. I also get thier coupons, so I saved 30 bux to boot AND got rebates for one free big-ass knife, and a non-stick fryer!
Gods I love bargains :crown:

I've had the same $30 set from Walmart for about six years now. They've served me well, but when we moved to our new house, the pots bounced on the flat-top electric stove whenever they started to heat up. I couldn't so much as boil a pot of water!
So, I looked around at different sets, different types of cookware, and finally decided on this 10-piece set from Emeril (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0000696JB//ref=nosim/mysticwickson-20) . Having a celebrity endorsement makes me cautious about buying a product, especially since I don't really like the guy, but the woman working the cookware section at Bed, Bath and Beyond really recommended the set. I went online and did some research and it's gotten good reviews. The cookware is made by All-Clad, so that's a plus, too. I brought them home today and actually am looking forward to cooking! :bouncysmi
I feel like such a grown-up now.
