You are correct in your assumption.

Yeah I just noticed, sorry.

On Druids building Stonehenge, I am going to get into such trouble for this. There has been no direct historical doucumnetation so this is just a thought.

What if the guys that directed the building of Stonehenge were "proto-Druids". The first records of Druids don't appear untill roughly 400 BCE. Stonehenge was set up as we have seen to track the Winter and Summer Soltices, awful lot of work for just those two things don't you think? Back to the proto-Druids; in Germany (Nantonos is going to have fun with this one) there has been found a conical hat with all the moon phases on it in oreder and I think gold. The people who wore these things were considered "priest-kings" . I have been trying to find relative dates but I think they are comensurate with Hallstadt. At any rate; CLassical Druids(400 BCE and after) were responsible for astronomical information. Could a group like the Druids, but earlier and recalling this earlier information, have organized the building of Stonehenge? And not to leave out the rest of Celtic Europe, the large stone structures built about the same time (2000 BCE) over the larger area of europe.

Ah, but you forgot the part about tracking the moon as well......

Well, Dave, you won't be alone in that boat, because I think what you're saying is entirely plausable. Just as we Modern Era Druids are basing the foundation of what we do off of our predecessors, the Early Druids I'm sure did the same...

Did not either, I just didn't mention it.

I am trying to start a revolution in Archeology, by naming a group after it's has been identified in a later age.

You are correct in your assumption.

Thank you. But I don't think it is a assumtion. I think in one of my past lives I helped build it.

Thank you. But I don't think it is a assumtion. I think in one of my past lives I helped build it.

So I asked the question.
