I have been studying the art of palmistry for 6 or 7 years and I find it to be quite fascinating. Any who would like to share or discuss this here are welcome. If you have access to a scanner I would be able to read for you via email.

Palmistry is a study into the nature of reality.
There is a saying "as within, so without" The small mirrors the large and vice versa. Look in nature you will see it everywhere, the atom is much like the solar system. The health of each cell is indicative of the health of the body.
So with palmistry, the hand tells the story of the body, how you think, how you feel, your health or lack of and much more. You could say the map of your life is written in your hand...Provided there is interest in the subject, future posts can include more details about hand reading.

I would be interested in following along also. Never gave much thought to palmistry before until I saw someone do a reading. It was so detailed!

The human body is fantastic machine. Within it are DNA. It is the DNA that determine all the intricate things about you. DNA also determines chemical composition and hormone levels. Chemical and hormone presence in the body greatly affect the emotional state of the subject. DNA also make the lines in your hand, sort of like a signature. So what we are reading in a way is the DNA.
Or the unique signature of emotional and intellect of the hand in question.

This is a very brief intro as to the "How it works" of palmistry.

Next topic will be brain hemispheres and how they relate to the hands.

ps..questions are welcome

I was thinking....could you post the "lessons" under a thread titled "Palmistry 101~Lesson 1" for example? This way the lessons and everyone asking for readings aren't in the same thread.

I just sent you my palms and tops. ;)

I have heard....somewhere in a far off land....that it's possible to read the feet also. Do you have any information on that? What would it be called?

Brain hemispheres relating to the hands.....can't wait to read more! :D

(I'm like a sponge.....I just can't get enough learning in!)

Dagda.I got your scans. Although I can read some major things the resolution of the scan is low. To do a more thorough analysis I need higher resolution. Dagda your hands are classic Air type.. This means one who lives in their mind. I see your a bit shy but somehow very communicative. Also a unique creative side with a flare for the unusual. Oh also leadership ability, although considering your shy side, I would like to see how that plays out..Perhaps in aloofness.
Thats what I see at first glance...better resolution will get you finer details...

And yes dagda it is possible to read the feet. They are ruled by earth and water. where the hands are fire and air

Hiya Moon! Great to have you here!
This is soo great :D We have been really wanting to talk about Palmistry for a while now :)
& wyhat you have to say sounds really interesting! I have really enjoyed your first few lessons and agree with Dagda that you maybe could make another thread titled ~ dicussion or lessons just so its clearer..
My scanner has packed up at the moment so I cant get my palm to you, but I will try with a friends over the next couple of weeks :) Thanks so much for offering.

From your DNA lesson I have a question ~ when you age your palm changes ~ the lines get deeper and you get more lines depending upon how much physical labour your hands have been through.. does this change your future reading at all (I can see how it could change your past..) ?? So I guess my question is age in palmistry?

Good question Silver!

Correct me if I'm wrong MasterMoon, but doesn't one hand indicate your future as told from birth if nothing changed and the other as life goes along?

I also have noticed that the lines in my hands do change. (not the Major lines so much as the smaller feathery ones) Especially the ones over the Mount of Luna (I believe that is what it is called....the meaty area at the bottom of the hand across from the thumb)....I've developed lines there in the past 15 years or so. I don't know that any have disappeared.....but some have straighted out....not so many islands or breaks in some.

I know that my left hand compared to my dominate right hand looks more ....chaotic. (the left hand) Why is that?

Dagda,
Yes..the right hand (if dominate) is what you have done and will do with your life, and the left (if submissive) is what you were born with. Now you said that your left is more chaotic than your right (I noticed that also) this is an indication that you have brought order to your life.

Silver Venus, To answer your question, palmistry is always "as it is seen now" seeing that anything can be changed (but usually doesnt)
the lines in the hand can change. Reality itself is very fluid and subject to change. The lines in the hand do not change from phyisical labor. The lines are determined by genetics. Fingerprints are always the same, otherwise we would have scenarios like, well here is this guys prints , but he did a lot of hard work the past year and now they have changed, it doesnt happen. I hope that answered your question.

Ok I get it :) Its like Tarot and all other divination in a way then in the way that our paths can change and when they do change are hands tell the tale so to speak!

& I can see how you think deeper lines are gentic but labour does surely affect your hands loads ~ say two brothers ~ one has been working on the land all his life, and one in an office, they both have similar lifes but very very different hands because or wear and tear, weather and labour...??

but the labor lines of which you speak, are more like cracks in the skin. They are not deeply etched lines. The deeply etched lines, are the lines that you are basically..born with. They are identifying factors :) The labor-cracks you get in your skin, aren't looked at in palmistry :) At least, that's my understanding of it, Am I right Honey?

(btw..mastermoon is my hubby, for those of you who were wondering).

Hiya Danus :) Aww how sweet ~ Glad youve got your hubby on here too :)
& the penny has finally dropped! aha yes, Ok, I now understand ~ you only read the strong birth lines :)
Thanks for clearing my mind up :sunny:

Ive never seen labor cracks. Certainly lines can temporarily change because of a physical changem but it is not permanent. We will be learning about the major lines very soon and that may answer all these stray questions...
