Um, I have a bit of a problem

I was wondering if any of you if any of you had ever been visited by lingering spirits/ghosts/things that go bump in the night or something along those lines. The reason I'm asking is that I seem to be being haunted by a one of these things (I have no idea what the heck it is). I'm not sure what he wants or how to talk to him. But I see him out of the corner of my eye from time of time and I can feel him around almost constantly. He seems to not like being around electronics that make noise (namely the TV and the computer, the stove, dishwasher, and stuff like that don't seem to have much effect). He seems to be attached to singing, but not the radio or CD and silence (like when I'm trying to mediate which just creeps me out because I feel like someone's looking over my shoulder). So I'm kind of looking for a way to talk to him and establish some kind of ground rules or something along those lines. If anyone could give me some pointers that would be nice.

I have one those too. She does not like talking much but, I just started to talk to her. I even give her a name I like. Over the years I have learned a little more about her. It even seems she knows now when to come and go. Though sometimes she does her own thing. Don't worry yourself to much. You meight want to try calling to it sometimes when you know it is around. Maybe it will talk to you. It may be one of your spirit guides, or a ghost from your past. There are many books and threads out there on them.

it might be a lil bad or mischivous too. I have one too, i think. I tried talking to it about the missing things in my life, namely to jackets, my keys, and my cat, and now they've backed down to smaller stuff ... like my batteries, chalice, and dehoderant. Hehe.

If you're gonna try and contact it and it responds negativly, i suggest trying to get rid of it. There are lots of threads floating around about this ... do what myst said ;) :)

Well, I've been seeing this dude almost my whole life (just not this intensely until recently), so I think if he wanted to be evil or something that probably would have started sooner.

I agree with clef0628, this may be a spirit guide. I have one too but he's very secretive and only makes his presence known when I am in desperate need.

My Mother's old house was inhabited by the spirit of my stepfather. He was born in, died in, and still won't leave that house. We never got along when he was alive, so after he changed into spirit form he would literally attack me by (for lack of a better word) transmitting feelings of hate and terror. I would be sitting in the living room or where ever, and I would suddenly feel absolutely terrified for no reason. And as I ran up the stairs to hide under the bedsheets I would sometimes see him out of the corner of my eye. And he looked seriously angry.

Then one night I decided not to run. I sat there and when the vibes hit me I started talking to him. I asked him what he wanted, why was he so angry at me, and why didn't we ever get along. Well there he backed off and I didn't get a response until a few weeks later I saw him in a dream. When I woke up, I couldn't remember what he had said. But after that I never felt him angry again.

My point is, whenever the Spirit is around, juat talk to it. It might not answer right away, but it'll hear you.

I know that it can be scary...i have two in my house...they are essentially good...Bill is an older man, who basically built this house.....and the woman, i am not sure who she is...but she suddenly came to me...when i first noticed her it was through strange lights in the room.....

It could be your spirit guide, or an ancestor (my great grandmother showed up about three years ago when i moved out of my parent's house....she just followed me around....i knew it was her cause her name came to me suddenly, and she would touch my left shoulder....i also ended up getting a few of her mannerisms)...

Just talk to it...find out what it wants....and if you don't want it taking stuff...just ask it not to...usually they are pretty nice that way......

I believe that there used to be a dog spirit around my house, of my neighbour's pet who used to spend lots of time round the house. Used to see her just vanishing behind the car an odd time, a kind of dark shadow.

I agree with many of the others who have spoken; I think that it might be a spirit guide, especially if you've seen him around for your whole life, and he hasn't done anything malicious.
Like the others said, try talking to him. ^_^ you never know what you may find out! And best wishes to you!
