I was wondering if any one else has this problem. Everytime I get a deck after it gets seriously charged with use It gets really negitive. It is still accurate but it always zooms in on the worst aspect of a person's life. I love my tarot but it get kinda depressing always being the bearer of bad news! Does anyone else ever experince this and does anybody know a solution?
Thanx in advance.
Brightest Blessing,

The mysterious thing about the tarot though....it tells you what you NEED to know....not necessarily what you want to know. If the person is in need of hope, the cards will reflect that.....otherwise, it tells you what you need to know to get beyond the rough spots.....or that rough spots are expected and to be on the lookout for them.

I agree with Myst too.....cleanse your deck. ;)

I have clensed it, in the last two weeks I've used sage, and also a week after that since that didn't seem to work I buried it over night. Maybe I'm just harsh on decks and need to get another new one, but I'm really attached to this one! "sigh"

Hmmm....I think I would have buried them longer than over night if the readings are ALWAYS negative. I think I'd bury them for at least 48 hours. Do you bury them outside, in a planter inside?....in dirt or in salt? I would try burying them in a planter inside with seasalt or Epson salts for at least 24 hours.

Decks sometimes just need a rest. Off the top of my head, someone else was feeling that they couldn't read from their deck until recently.....since the 9-11 ordeal. (Sorry I can't remember who right off hand, I just woke up.) .....so that was a 2 month rest that they needed. (I think it was both deck and reader that needed a break to re-align. ;) )

I think sometimes it's just in our perceptions. Try laying out a reading so that they are all "Reversed" to see what you get. Do the cards seem more favorable or more negative. You might have a reading style that is more favorable to have the cards facing the Querant. If that is the case, I think it's a case that subconscious attitudes and how it interprets the symbols.....and your own body's energy may connect better with the Querant and the cards. I know this all sounds looney.....but give it a shot. ;) I know there are a couple people out there that prefer to have the cards facing the Querant since it's their future to be told. Others prefer to have the cards facing themselves for ease of reading. It's a matter of personal choice. :D

You might want to try keeping a piece of amethyst with you deck. From what I have read, amethyst aborbs negativity , which might help balance you deck. I would cleanse it occasionally in salt water or let it sit out in sun light or moon light for a few nights.
I hope this helps.

Thsnkd I think I'll give those a shot, and I bury them outside with earth. First I'll try the amethyst (sp?) since people keep swarming me with crystal stuff maybe it's a hint... And don't worry I can't call anyone loony! lol
