World Prayers-- a link

I happened upon a cool website that has tons of World prayers, invocations, adorations and celebrations. It has has things from the Carmina Gadelica to Christian prayers and NA prayers and TONS of others. Some of them are quite lovely.

Just thought I'd share...I love reading prayers-- which are quite poetic and learning about ways other religons pray and view their Diety.

Yup :). I'm still going though them and I'm only on Invocations, lol.

Oh and to see a list rather than random-- which can repeat some-- click on the right petal of the flower. It'll show a list of all the prayers.

Here's a similar site. It has various phrases translated into all the UN official languages.

The phrase its on now is: May peace prevail on earth. (http://www1.ocn.ne.jp/~infinite/pages/_Earth.htm)

You can also click the scripts and hear the verbal prayer in the language indicated.
