i have been thinking and meditating. i have 'created' a path to fit me. it is a blend. believing that everything has a spirit and the 5 elements-ether, earth, air, water, fire-are in every thing/being. no diety(s).i can do magick with these elements and spirits. believing that there are elemental spirits and they are around us whether we see them or not, like sprites, nymphs, etc...this seems to fit me. is there already a name for this or no. it just came to me.i still incorporate the casting of circles and other neo-pagan ideas. i am open to ur thoughts.

Sounds to me like what you are describing is Shamanism, or possibly a cross between Shamanism and the Faerie Wicca tradition. So yes, it does have a name.

It sounds a lot like my path. I gave it a name, though: Anni-ism. (after my name) ;)

yeah, sounds very similar to shamanism which i've been exploring alot lately. particularly celtic shamanism which incorperates alot of fearies, elves, sprites and other nature spirits. good luck on your path.
brightest blessings light and love,

Just a few questions, do you have a community you serve? Do you believe in your ancestors and their guidance of your choice (if not total rule over your fate)? Do you work towards the betterment of the community the seven generations and the world as a whole? If not then it is not shamanism. That system has many names but it is not shamanism if you dont do the above things. Oh shoot there are words for it in almost every shaminic culture, but what it boils down to is that that is witchcraft, sorcerery and whatever else it is called, however it is not shamanism. Sorry i dont mean to sound dogmatic but shamanism is the service of a community in mystical religious spiritual social physical needs of the people guided by the ever vigelant ancestors, not magick gone ritual. Might be fairy witchcraft but yet again (and I cant emphasise this enough) it is not shamanism. Might be shamanic practices but that would just make it sorcerery (there are other words for it but they escape me at the moment).
