Ahh it won't be long and he will be streaking around like whirlwind..........whipping off his diaper/pull ups - his clothes. Getting into the cupboards, climbing things..........;0) It's a grand time at this age.

I think the joke goes, is your son walking yet? Answer: no, he's still running!

That's what you think...the 3 y/o just figured out how to drag a chair into the kitchen and get into the cabinet with the sugar bowl in it. The day I caught him at it, it looked like he'd eaten at least a cup of it, and smeared another one on his face, chest, arms, hair, etc....the baby (18 months) is toddling, talking (she's up to a 10 word vocabulary) and has recently discoverd that shrieking is a wonderful way to get everyone to look at her (did you know that a baby girl has a very piercing voice?) And to top things off, the 6 (almost 7) year old has decided that since his mom is going to have another baby in January, we need another adult in the house to run things...and he's just the guy for the job........and it's a grand time at this age? Personally, some days I look forward to the day they graduate! :fprtyman2

congrats to kayan, it is always special at this time for the walking to start and then you wonder why you never hobbled them (ie running around like a mad man trying to catch up with them i know i did it with my mom especially when she had a broken leg it was like a free for all hehe i was such a bad kid) but as much as it might frusterate you at the time you will look back on it and think how special that time was

Good Heavens, Shadow Dreamer, I'm having enough trouble keeping up with ONE who just learned to crawl! I can't imagine how you manage!

not trying to hijack a thread here...just a quick note: how do we manage? well, Benadryl and Beer are always stocked in the house...and I work nights.

any other questions?
