Tofurkey! It's turkey flavored tofu. ^^ I'm not a vegetarian but in tastes better then the real stuff IMHO. I don't know why, it just does. My mom does most of the cooking and I just hide in my room so she can't drag me out and make me clean. :p I hate cleaning.

This year we're having mashed as well as roasted potatoes. Dad cubes them and mixes them with oil and some dry onion soup mix and puts them in the oven, and they taste wonderful!

Go to http://www.foodtv.com they have some great recipes and ideas for the holiday. :)

Turkey, stuffing, potatoes (not sure which kind yet), green beans almondine, cranbery relish (my fave!) :mmm: and turnips that my step-monster's brother is making (i like him though, he's a riot) and I think there's a cheescake for desert along with homemade sherbet that my son & I are making tomm. night.

I think we're making turkey. I won't be eating it (I'm a vegetarian), but I know that I'll be helping to make it. We usually also have cranberry sauce (yummy), yams (yucky), mashed potatoes, vegetables, and other such traditional goodies.

So many different diets.... my husband and I are on Protein Power, my sister is allergic to just about everything imaginable, my mom eats like a bird...

Turkey, rice/sausage/apple stuffing, fresh cranberry sauce, green salad, probably some mashed potatoes and rolls just in case someone wants them. Dessert is pumpkin pie (one made with sour cream, one with rice milk) with real whipped cream (or cool whip for my sister)

Dinners have gotten a lot simpler over the years. I used to do the above + yams, green bean casserole, stawberry/sour cream jello salad, carrot/raisin salad, and do mashed potatoes and rolls from scratch. Just don't have the energy anymore.

I nearly forgot! This year i'm making up a ham steak for Eshallet! He can't eat turkey, messes with his stomach too much!

Shhh, don't tell him I forgot, he'll get mad.

The Canadian Thanksgiving was back in Oct. We went over to my mom's for dinner. I didn't have to cook at all! :D It was hard work picking out the wine, though.

I have to work on Thanksgiving which is good excuse for avoiding those pesky out of town relatives, but it sucks that I won't get a good turkey nap and eat till my zipper breaks. (I dieted for this day!:D ) My employers are making the dinner for us, probably frozen dinners.;) knowing them. Hopefully, I won't fall asleep @ my desk!..That may be good, then they could fire me and I could go home and gorge myself!:D :D :D :D :D :D
