Legacy
As our world takes a breath every minute, we knew she would be safe.
We knew it the moment we stared into those eyes.
Our world was protected.
You alone would ensure our survival.
We could never make peace on this earth; our past has come to haunt us.
We have tried centuries and decades long to stop the hate and war
Although it never seemed to end…
Now we bow to you to find our answers, our precious halves.
As our fathers, mothers and ancestors once bowed to us, now we must
bow to you.
We hope that you can call upon everlasting love and use it as a shield to combat the hate and to ensure the end of war.
Love one another as we loved you.
Love and Knowledge are the most precious gifts we can leave you.
We trust you will use them wisely.
You are our only hope.
You are our legacy left to this sensitive, but delicate world.
