i left a long while back (a few months is a long time here).

too much stupid drama... way too much drama.

i was a moderator... and well.. i got tired of the closeminded people making my life harder than it needed to be.

people just weren't respecting other paths. it was very difficult... one particular argument over satanism pushed me over the edge.. having people try and tell me they know more than i do about something.. when my husband is a satanic priest.. and therefore i woudl like to think i know just a little bit more about it than someone who is just making assumptions based on the name of the religion.

this site was sucking up a lot of my free time... and it was giving me nothing but stress back.

however i get this nifty e-mail saying maybe things are gonna change and go back to the way things were before i even got here...

so maybe i'll come back... but i dunno if things are actually gonna change or not..

i dont know lucidia, i love this place, and i for one try my hardest to give all paths the respect that they are due. theres only one rule now, and thats respect. respect eachother, other paths, whatever. i can only speak for myself, but im sure everyone ll agree that you should never have been pushed over like that so come back!!! :)

Well, I for one am glad you are reconsidering coming back!:) I have a good feeling that things will change if they haven't started to change already! It is very hard to hold your tounge when someone is arguing about something you have definite knowledge of. Or when you think someone is attacking you personally...I've been there myself and have taken things way too seriously (not to say that you have). There were other times when I would stick up for my original opinion and have been bashed for that in one way or another. People don't like it when you don't back down...they want you to say...yeah your right and I was wrong...what was I thinking! Well, that's not necessary! We all have our opinions and they should be respected by others and they should not try to sway someone in their direction because they feel that they are right! Come back and give it a try again...lurk for a while and see how you feel!

I don't think any one of us can say for sure that this place has changed, is changing or will change. All we can do is try.

I've been going away for a week or so at a time over the past few months and then coming back to see what's up. That seems to work for me. There really had been a lot of arguing and misunderstanding.

But I'm trying to do my part... staying positive and open minded!
