Prayer for a Red Cross volunteer

I know that with the recent occurence of hurricane Katrina, everyone is being tapped out in the prayer and energy area. Well, I have one more intention to add to that, and if you have some energy to spare I would be very greatful.

I have a friend who is a Red Cross volunteer, and as such is going down to help the victims. In the coming weeks he can expect little rest, everyday comforts (such as showers, clean water, and food), and safety. However, in giving up these he will be helping many. As such, I ask for your prayers that he will remain safe, and that his help will go far. Thank you all very much, it means the world to me to have such a community where everyone is taken care of.<3
