First shift at a new job tomorrow!

Hey all, good to be back after my month-long absence (due to lack of internet connection). :)

Just wanted to share that I am starting a new job tomorrow! I am taking a semester off from University for a break and to do some heavy thinking about what I want career-wise. I'm working at Starbucks. I'm going to shock you all: There is only one Starbucks in the entire island of Newfoundland :D. I bet that's hard for some of you to believe!

Anyway, if anyone can spare a thought or a prayer for good luck, I'd be appreciative.

only one starbucks! i know of some areas here that literally have one or two on every block! well, congratulations on your new job. i'm also taking a semester off to do some thinking, and to work and save up, so i know a bit of what you may be going through... good luck with everything!

I've heard that working at Starbucks is either good or bad but I don't remember which. I know they say the pay is good so that should be nice for you.

I just got home a few minutes ago... Oh, am I tired and stressed out! But not in a "I-hate-my-life" way, just in the "Eeek-I'm-New-and-I-don't-know-how-to-do-anything" way.
But I think it'll be ok after more practice. :)

Gotta go back for 9am tomorrow for another training shift... hoping that it won't seem so scary!!!
