My friend claims that witches have problems with vamps...is that true?

If you're talking blood-sucking undead, no. There ain't no sich animal.

If you're talking blood-sucking living, those are sexual fetishists and witches have no more problem than anyone else.

If you're talking psychic vampires, the kind that suck all the energy and joy out of your life, I think the energy we often project attracts them, but we can also protect ourselves against them. First by the common-sense way of recognizing and avoiding them, and second by warding against them if we can't avoid them.

Just like many other religions or belief systems, Vampyres have different Traditions and types. They're not all blood-sucking or psychic drainers or role playing freaks...Some people are real Vampyres.

I wouldn't be scared of a psychic vampire either. They use negative means to get what they want. In this case, it's the energy of a human. if that human happens to be a Witch, they could easily defeat negative with positive.

I have known some psychic vampires before. Half the time they totally mean no harm, and most aren't even consious of it. There ARE some types who do it on purpose. Often times they are very radient, fun-to-be-around people, at least in my experience. A good friend of mine is, and she kind of knows it, but doesn't mean to do so. My boyfriend is kinda creeped out by her.

As for blood-sucking ones. . . dono. I imagine it's possible. (don't flame me! I'm just very open minded, it could happen. . . I mean, there's a trillion more freaky things out there that are "impossible" so why not?) Some people are *not* really anything except cultists with weird fettishes. . .that's how I see it, anyway. I think it's kinda sick to drink people's blood. But to each his own. . . I guess. Blech.

I agree with Puma regarding phychological vampyres. I used to be married to one. The blood lusting undead vampyre exists only in the mind of the believer.

Psychic vamps don't realize when they do this......as well as emotionally draining ones.....

sometimes, you gotta tell them,.....then they go "huh?"

but, no, i wouldn't say we have more issues with vampires...lol....

as "Buffy" says:

Vampires Suck....

Sorry vampires vs witches only happens on television where people are perfect and rich even though they have no jobs.
