my friend lost her dog...

We are all really sad, just a few days ago, her family adopted a wonderful dog from Beagles and Buddies after their old dog passed on several months ago... my friend had taken him out for a walk, when she got home, she put him in the backyard, they have a doggy door so he could come in. then she started making dinner... a few minutes later her brother came home and couldn't find him. he broke the wooden fence and escaped... he doesn't know his way around the neighborhood at all... we looked all over for him last night and today, posted flyers everywhere, talked to everybody we could find... i hope he turns up soon, i hope he's safe... the only identification he has on him is his rabies vaccination tag, and i don't know if they can trace that number to the rescue... these people are far from irresponsible pet owners, and they all feel really terrible... we think he may be trying to get back to the rescue, but thats quite a distance from home... his new name is Sought, his old name is Big Guy. energie to keep him safe and to find his way back home would be greatly appreciated.

They did nothing wrong. I so hope they find him. The tags, who ever gave the rabies vaccine will be able to trace the tag. I have returned many lost dogs due to that wonderful rabies tag hanging on their neck!

thanks everyone... i'm just so worried that he's not gonna be able to find his way back, and he'll be hungry and cold and scared... but i'm sure things will turn out fine... i'll post updates as soon as i get them..
