Hello-
I know I don't post/reply often (but I do always send energy when I read these posts, even if I do it silently) but I have a problem that needs some energy. While going through Marine Corps bootcamp I herniated 2 discs, compressed 2 others, and cracked a vertebra. I have been fine for 4 years, no pain or anything. Within the past week it has gotten worse to the point that sometimes I really just want to die. I have an MRI today, and am on vicodin, but nothing helps. I can't sit, lay, or stand in any way to ever make myself comfortable. I feel like an invalid and hate it! I have a 9 month old daughter, and I can no longer even pick her up. I'm in misery. I told my husband this morning to please shoot me. Any advice on how to deal with this or energy would be very helpful. Thanks!

Yikes, I've had a compressed or herniated disk, and I was in horrible pain. I could not get to the bathroom on my own. You have my sympathies and healing energies. :hugz:

Hi everyone!
Just wanted to send a big thanks to everyone, your energies worked! Although I do have to have surgery for my back problem, it will not be nearly as horrible as I had originally thought ( the surgery that is) as they just need to remove the ruptured part of the disc that is pressing on the nerve. When all is said and done, I should be on my feet in a couple of days. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I was so worried I'd be out for weeks, this is the best possible outcome that I could have hoped for. Thanks again!

That's good news. When do you go for the surgery? I'll be glad to send healing-recovery energies.

Hi-
Surgery monday. Am very fortunate that I found a doctor who cares that his patients are in pain and does something about it fast (previously I had a doctor closer to me that wouldn't see me until Oct. 6, I called them and begged to be moved up as I was in so much pain, the lady in scheduling simply refused to even talk to the doctor, I was simply out of luck, to which I said I don't think so! I cannot wait). Surgery is really pretty simple, they will only remove the part causing pain. Should be minimal time off, and pain will be gone soon! I can't wait to actually sleep through the night, to not wake up in such pain that you can't sit, lay, or stand. I have faith that things are going to be just fine. Thanks again for the wishes!

Good for you!
I went through something similar early this year in trying to get my granddaughter in to see a dentist. She had an abcess, her poor face was swollen and so very painful. Poor kid. But no one could see her in less than 6 weeks. SIX frigging weeks! I kept calling and we finally found someone who was able to evaluate her and do xrays and remove the damn tooth. Ya just gotta stand up for yourself.
