Getting through the Holidays

Hi All
It has been a while since I last posted. I if all goes well I will be able to post more often. When I get DSL and a computer. I am posting this for some help. In 1991 I was in the Marine Corps and had to go back home to bury my mother, whenever the Super Boul is, since then every time this year I have a emptey feeling inside. What Iam asking is have anybody gone through this or can help me with ways to over come this time of the year. Or in other words HELP!!!!!!!!

I lost my dad at this time of year. I guess I have that same empty feeling. it doesnt go away. I just think of how much he loved christmas, and i try to do things in the same way. I put the tree up and decorate the house with the kids on the 12th december like he did with my sisters and me (he always said it was bad luck to put it up earlier) the youngest two kids dont remember him so i talk to them about him a lot, show them pictures, and tell them about all the silly things he would do at christmas and the songs he would sing to make us laugh. so really its like he's still a part of it.
