In need of help....

Hello everyone... I really hate to be a bother, but everything is seeminly wrong. I got very sick a few days ago, and came down with Costochondritis, and also may have had a mild heart attack, I just don't want to tell anyone in my family, becuase I'm about to turn fifteen, and I hate to ruin everyones lives while they try to help out for my party and all... A friend came to help me, and looked it up, I had all of the symtoms of the heart attack... I couldn't breathe, the seering pain in my heart and chest, and to make it deffinate, when you have one, you get a seering pain down one or both of your arms, I got one down my right arm... Maybe a bit of help if it can be spared? I can barely move, and even breathing litterally hurts, it is like somethings crushing and stabbing my heart and chest.... Thanks for any help, It's so very much appreiciated!

I really would talk to someone in your family - you wouldn't be ruining their lives - in fact. they'd probably be glad to help out & they'd feel happy that you're OK. If you really can't stand talking to them, at least see a doctor. Healing energy sent to you honey. :hugz:

Give your family a chance to help you out, hon. What if it's serious, and they found out too late that it could've been prevented? It would be much more painful for them to lose you than to help you out when they could have.

It's possible that the symptoms you describe are caused by a severe reaction to anxiety, but it's better safe than sorry. You are a vital part of your family...please have more faith in their love for you. Keep us posted, plz.

I just had another "attack" like thing... Maybe I'll ask my friend to drive me to the hospital tomorrow, when my parents are working... Thank you so much for your support, the only thing I can do right now is concentrate on something, sleeping isn't a good thing, I can just feel it. It could be anxiety Viv, but I don't know what It would be over....

You really need to tell your parents NOW about the pains you are having!!! It could be something very serious. We have had serveral people your age in our area die suddenly from undiagnosed heart problems. So, please, please tell your parents NOW.

My friend took me to the doctor today.... They can't explain it. They say there is nothing wrong with my heart, but I'm showing scattered symtoms, none of which are all too treatable... They are confused on all that is happening to me... And want me to check back with them the moment something happens...

I'm sorry they couldn't shed any more light on the situation though. You should probably take their advice & go back if you feel the symptoms coming on again. Or if you're really not satisfied with what they said, you could get a second opinion?

That sound like the symptoms of a panick attack to me, and certainly because the doc couldn't find anything.

I had symptoms which sound almost identical to yours and I was diagnosed as having panic attacks, for me this was part of another condition, but if it does continue to happen a lot it is worth asking your doctor about because there is medication available which can reduce the frequency and severity of attacks.

You don't necessarily have to be stressed or whatever to get a panic attack, its kind of a misleading name really as it isn't really a response to 'panic', the truth of it is that doctors don't really know what causes some people to have them (well, that's what my GP told me anyways!!:bigredblu )

I would let your family know what is happening though, especially if they keep happening, as, as a mum myself, I would be much more gutted that one of my kids didn't tell me that they were sick than i would be knowing something was wrong...mums and dads want to be there for you through stuff like this;)

Whatever is causing the problem, I do hope that it is all sorted out for you very soon. Healing energy on its way. :hugz:

Well they stopped over the weekend, so hopefully they have completely stopped. ... I dont think the opening of a chakara is supposed to hurt so much is it? It has never before...I dunno. Panic attacks maybe, I don't know right now, things aren't going to well outside of sickness.... Thankyou though for all of you help and advice ^^
