I've seen this site before, so I knew what I was going to see before I went in. Gunner knows its a parody, thats why he told you no to get too upset.

It has too many things which are SOO far off base from any christian values, baptist, catholic, protestant, whoever, to even consider being real.

A few years ago a man, Matthew Shepard was killed in a gay bashing incident. The people responsable were convicted of a Hate Crime.

Whats really scary is how the people at this church responded to it. They picketed his FUNERAL, with signs saying things like, 'God Hates Fags' etc. How disrespectful can you get. Here is another quote from that website:
Matthew Shepard has been in hell for 1139 days. Deal with it! All else is trivial and unimportant. All the fag caterwauling, candlelight vigils, court orders, etc., can't buy Matt one drop of water to cool his tongue.
They even count the days that he has been dead.

I belive in freedom of expresion and all, but seriously folks. How ignorent do you have to be to go to someones funeral and tell the parents that their son is now in hell, with signs insulting homosexuals.

unsolon is right, the "landover baptist church" is a parody site or i'd not have put it up here. i've seen the "god hates fags" site and even though i'm not particularly concerned with "gay issues" it's still a stupid, ugly and disgusting waste of bandwidth and if some hacker were to decide to mess around with it a bit it would be no loss to the internet. as i recently said about another subject, the people who created and support the "god hates fags" site are due for a serious shock when they reach their eventual destination. what was that quote, "as ye do unto the least of my children so ye have done unto me."
